This study focuses on broadcast communication in consideration of the refuge direction, pays its attention to direction selection in refuge early stages, and confirms experimentally influences, which broadcast has on refuge. Contents of broadcast consisted of “information without specific directions of refuge direction” and “information with specific directions of refuge direction”. Based on results of the experiments, following things became clear. Residents have an appropriate tendency to take refuge, when broadcasting contents included “information in considering of clue in decision on refuge direction”. Properly refuge was greatly related to easy to walk, safety in street environment, and good view from crease bend point. When sign guidance and route guidance interlock, it is easy to take refuge. From the above knowledge, this study clarified that “information in considering of clue in decision on refuge direction” is taken disaster prevention broadcasting into consideration on initial refuge.Eje 1: Dilemas del desarrollo socio-territorial y la planificación urbano-regional frente a los retos de la sustentabilidad.Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanism

In this study, rain would be regarded as an important factor in landscape color planning, and the visual effects and impressions of colors on façades during rainfall were focused. Verification experiments in which the authors produced a rain simulation device that can control rainfall and illuminance were conducted. Experiments were conducted based on an experimental design with four factors of hue (5R / 5Y / 5G / 5PB), Chroma, lightness, and rainfall. In the rainfall simulation experiment, the visual effects of the color based on visual colorimetry were evaluated, and impression evaluations were extracted. As results, this study presented our findings about the relationship between rainfall and the visual effects and impressions of color, and determined that there are differences in the evaluation depending on the Hue and the amount of rainfall. In landscape color planning, considering the influence of rainfall is important for a fascinating landscape. This study will show basic important references of such new landscape color planning

This study quantitatively investigates relationships between visitors’ objectives for visiting a historical district, using photo-based participatory research. Thirty Japanese undergraduates majoring in commerce and 27 Japaneseadults with an interest in architecture and/or town planning were asked to photograph noteworthy settings in ahistorical district and rate to what extent each setting portrayed nine objectives on scales. The ratings weresubjected to exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. The findings offer insights into visitors’ objectives, particularly their perception of commercialisation and perceived relationships between the pursuit of novelty and of well-known things, which are suggested to be affected by visitors’ characteristic
